Essential Vaccines

Vaccines for Corporate Employees (Age 21–65 yrs)

Recommended for all office, industry, hospital, IT, factory, and field workers.

Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Td/Tdap)

  • One dose of Tdap if not taken as an adult
  • Then Td booster every 10 years

Influenza (Flu Vaccine)

  • Annual vaccination
  • Essential for crowded workplaces & high sick-leave industries.

Hepatitis B

  • Mandatory for all employees
  • 3-dose schedule: 0, 1, 6 months
  • Check anti-HBs titre in high-risk occupations.

COVID-19 Booster

  • As per latest national guidelines
  • Especially for frontline, healthcare, public-facing workers.

Typhoid Vaccine

  • Single dose every 3 years (Vi Polysaccharide)
  • Every 10 years if using Typbar TCV.

Chickenpox (Varicella)

  • For non-immune adults only
  • 2 doses, 4–8 weeks apart.

Hepatitis A

  • For employees working in hospitality, travel, sanitation
  • 2 doses (0 and 6 months).

MMR (Measles–Mumps–Rubella)

  • For employees without documented childhood vaccination
  • 2 doses, minimum 4 weeks apart.

HPV (21–45 years, optional)

  • For female and male employees
  • Prevents cervical and oral HPV-associated cancers.

Pneumococcal Vaccine (PCV / PPSV23) Recommended for:

  • Smokers
  • Diabetics
  • Chronic lung, heart, liver, kidney disease
  • Age > 50
  • PCV13/PCV20 → PPSV23 (if required)

Shingles (Herpes Zoster)

  • For adults >50 years
  • Two doses, 2–6 months apart.

🍽 Vaccines for Food Handlers (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, Mess Staff)

Food handlers have added infectious risk, so this list is more strict.Mandatory / Strongly Recommended

Typhoid (TCV / Vi)

  • Highest priority
  • 1 dose every 3 years (Vi) or 10 years (TCV)

Hepatitis A

  • Prevents contamination of food/water
  • 2 doses (0 and 6 months)

Hepatitis B

  • 3 doses (0,1,6 months)

Tdap / Td

  • Tetanus booster every 10 years
  • One-time Tdap if not taken as an adult.

MMR

  • Measles outbreaks often start in crowded workplaces
  • 2 doses if not vaccinated

Influenza (Annual)

  • Prevents transmission in kitchens and serving areas.

COVID Booster

  • As per guidelines.
